1. Rooms 4 u provides a total package concept for the greater majority of the houses it owns and manages.
With our fully inclusive package you need never worry about that final demand hitting the door mat. The costs for your gas, water and electricity are included in your rent as is the cost of your broadband. We have upgraded all of our properties to Kingston Communications fastest broadband offering (up to 8mb) to ensure that you can work faster. In addition houses are fitted with free wifi and in some cases are hard wired as well. We provide technical support staff to maintain our equipment and who can help you with pc set up or other problems.
All of our houses are equipped with digital aerials and have TV points in bedrooms and common areas. This ensures that you are able to receive free view – all you need is a free view box (or maybe you can try to win one by registering with us). We can even offer an inclusive option that includes TV licence as well – just speak to one of our team members.
2. We care about the environment
As part of our commitment to be more environmentally friendly we have commenced upon a program of fitting low energy lamps to all of our properties. These are provided by rooms4u at no cost to tenants (we will even fit them and replace them). We estimate that this action alone will reduce lighting energy consumption by at least 80% - helping to protect everyone’s future.
But we haven’t just stopped there. Every property is provided with recycling boxes and we work hard to ensure that tenants are aware of the environmental impact of active recycling.
Finally we are committed to controlling and reducing energy consumption throughout all of our properties. Where we have offered a ‘fully inclusive’ option we now incentives everyone to control and reduce their energy usage. We estimate that in a 4 bed house the cost of gas and electricity should never exceed £20 per week (i.e. £1,000 over 50 weeks). Using national averages for family consumption this figure sits towards the top end of the usage scale. We therefore ‘cap’ energy costs in each property. For every pound tenants can save from the capped figure we will give them 90 pence back. However if they overuse energy then they will pay for the full cost over the ‘cap’. In this way we are committed to encouraging tenants to be energy conscious – caring for the future.
3. We are nice people to deal with
Ok, so everyone is going to say that – but we mean it. Rooms4u is a family run firm that prides itself upon its customer service. Like every service provider we don’t get it right all of the time but we are honest enough to recognise this and work hard to improve.
All of our team are provided with security passes so you can identify who is at your door and we are open 6 days a week and are contactable for emergencies on a 24/7 basis to ensure that there is always someone for you to talk to.
